Different Ways to Tie Shoe Laces

Sawtooth
Are you bored of tying your shoes using the bow tie method? If yes, then let me tell you some cool ways to lace shoes. For sawtooth shoelace style, the lace should run across the bottom and the lace ends need to be inserted in the bottom eyelets. One of the end will run straight up the right side and taken out of the eyelet and emerge from the third set of eyelets. Repeat this method of directing the lace diagonally upwards and then across till you reach the top set of eyelets.

Bushwalk
Bushwalk is another shoelace style which will give an interesting look to your sneakers. The first step in this technique is to insert the lace by running it straight across the bottom, the lace ends must emerge through both bottom eyelets. Get hold of one end of the lace and it should be made to run straight up the right side. Then it should be fed into the eyelet and made to run straight across the second set of eyelets. Now both the ends will be out on the left side, each end must skip the next level of eyelet and emerge out of the third level and made to run straight across. This process needs to be repeated till both the ends are out on the top level. This is one of the trendy shoelace styles because both the ends will be on the same side.

Ladder
For the ladder shoelace method, the first step would be to make the lace run straight across the bottom. Both ends must emerge from the bottom eyelets. Insert the ends into the next set of eyelets. Now cross over the ends and proceed by passing them under the vertical lace section on the opposite sides of the shoe. Lace end should move up into the next level of eyelets. Continue in the similar fashion till you reach the top set of eyelets. Cross over the eyelets again and tie a knot. If you have been looking for shoelace styles for high tops, ladder lacing technique will certainly work well.

Checkerboard
If you are looking for shoelace styles with two laces, you can certainly try the checkerboard shoelace style. For this you need to get hold of flat colored laces. Both laces must be of a different color. Take one lace and start lacing the shoe using the straight lacing. Take the other lace and from the bottom of the shoe, start weaving the lace by moving it in and out of the other lace. Continue weaving till you reach the top. Now weave the lace in and out from top to bottom. Once you have used up most of the lace, you need to tuck in all loose ends.

Lattice
If you are looking for trendy converse shoelace styles, you can try the lattice lacing method. For this technique, you need to insert both the lace ends into the bottom eyelets from the underside. Now cross the ends over, skip the next two eyelets and feed the lace into the fourth set of eyelets. Next step would be to run both ends straight up and pull them up through the fifth set of eyelets. Now cross the ends over and feed the lace ends into the second set of eyelets. Now these ends must run straight up and come out of the third set of eyelets. Again the ends must be crossed over, and must come out through the top set of eyelets.
