Angelina Jolie handed out fruits and greeted a number of refugees. Haaretz reported that Angelina Jolie praised Turkey for their welcoming of the refugees and was welcomed to the camp with much fanfare.

Angelina Jolie, Goodwill Ambassador, visited refugee camp in Turkey..
In June 2011, in Angelina Jolie' role as goodwill ambassador for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, she visited a refugee camp in Turkey protecting Syrians who fled across the border from Bashar Assad's brutal crackdown of the 2011 Syrian Uprising.
